Cutter Boutwell Relieves Sebago! - It's our turn to look over the horizon and envison Pensacola on the bow! This sleek 378' Secretary class cutter is the third ship of the Coast Guard to carry the name. The first was a wooden schooner of the RCS and the second was a buck and a quarter of the Rum Runner era. In 1970 she was nearly brand new and yet to establish her reputation. Now, 36 years later and nearing the end of her service life, the Cutter Boutwell is known to have served with distinction in peaceful and wartime assignments around the world. But on this day, at least, we are not concerned with Boutwell, but with what lies ahead of Sebago ... home and a much needed rest!
